to the movies
went with salleh to watch Iron Man and Harold and Kumar yesterday.

Iron man was awesome, but the starting was kind of draggy. him getting captured and all. but once he started to put on his mark 3 suit, i was all fanboy-like. whoa!

Harold and Kumar, was in-your-face funny. it's all frat boy humor and stuff, but it's freaking funny ah. one of my most favorite lines in the movie, " F**k you, donuts are awesome "

i think i met someone from poly at golden landmark, but as it was very dark i couldn't really see who it was when she waved at me. if you're reading this, i'm sorry if i gave you a stunned look and didn't wave back, but believe me my eyesight's getting worse. my bad.

still on my much deserved leave, though i miss working at times too. hehe. bought for myself one graniph tee and one mandarin chinese learners' dictionary, to assist me at work. Yao's going to ORD, so it might help if one of us knew just a bit of chinese to make things abit easier;

kak lela also says that once i come back from leave, i'll be promoted one rank up. in all honesty, i kind of like having no rank on my shoulders. being lance corporal means you have to shoulder some more added responsibility. i'm not scared mind you, just that with the new status and all, people have higher expectations of you and so on. i just hope i'll be able to reach them that's all.

but, one the plus side, once i get my rank i'll be going to alex to change the size of my uniform. the one im wearing is too big, and with all the constant jogging and training, i've rather slimmed down, if i do say so myself. LOL

now to get ready for jasmine's birthday chalet. haha
