April
gosh i haven't been blogging for a long time. been busy with work and all other related stuff, but the month of april has been very eventful.

as posted in my earlier post, from the 1st to the 10th of april, i had my attachment stint at station 11, also known as Central Fire Station. I fell in love with the station immediately. the building is so awesome, it's like you're touching living history. the people there are awesome; the drivers, the paramedics and the medics.

to shafiee and lynn. god you both are awesome. going on calls with shafiee is more like going for a field trip than going for a call. the atmosphere when you're with him is relaxed but focus. he treats you as an equal, and not as someone inferior. and he justs knows how to make you laugh. truth be told, it's like having an older brother. yeah. something like that.

lynn. i have to thank her for all the things she did. she was the first to notice that i got a cut and told me to treat it. she also noticed that i had a cold and gave me panadol cold. she also, somehow lifted my spirits up when that ah teng questioned my abilities. if shafiee is a big brother, lynn is a mum, an unbelievable mum.

the drivers; abang ithnin, uncle lee, abang jack and abang othman.

the medics; asyraf, alex, aleric, andrew, izzat, ali, wong, and even ah teng, and especially my own mates, dan, dylan and my best mate fahmy

and that one pmt. lol

almost didn't want to go back. however,

on one side you have the list of people above, on the other you the list of people below from Station 14;

SSG Lela. Hands down one of the most legendary, and i repeat again, legendary paramedics to go on call with, and arguably the most fun among the rest. haha

Encik Halim. Best driver there. like a Dad.

Rota 3 Fireside. Plenty of laughs with them. even got kissed twice by one of their hazmat people. LOL!

i guess, to sum it up, my hearts for 11 but the blood that is running through is type-14.

Also,

had our first major MOC outing at the cage. 15 plus people. hopefully lots more will turn up next time.

ran alone for the first time when i came back from 11. pretty fun actually. but now im gifted with a junior medic, so its a tag team partnership from now on. haha

passed my ippt! woo!

next up, im gunning for silver in ippt, and just wanting to be better in all things related to medic. haha

on a side note, i miss all my un-medic related friends too. the shf, the street soccer guys etc

i wish i could see them soon

Central Fire Station
Attachment at Central Fire Station from 1-10 April.

first day was already so "happening"

first case was a maternity case

10 cases in one day. went back home and just ko-ed in the shower

but somehow, i'm falling in love with the station and it's people. the place is so rustic; it's like how a firestation should be, with it's brick walls and victorian-esque design and it's doors.

it's always fun to hear the electronic siren sounding, which means that i have to turnout

all the cases are damn interesting too. Just last night had a case at ngee ann city. who knew huh? haha

but something is bothering me. there's this cut on my left hand, and im worried. what with all the patients we have to deal with. i mean, i already applied decaderm and wore gloves, but still, it's kinda scary. it still hasn't healed yet
