ok, a summary of how i spent my week
Monday, 2nd April
headed to CLS Fo prep camp with Ben.. upon reaching dover, 1st thing i saw, was the DingDangs, haha..then headed to club, put our stuff, then me and ben went to dinner at holland v and also to get dear kellys' Bday cake..
At nite, celebrated abit with kelly n the rest of the DingDangs.. Happy 18th Bday Kel <3 !! haha.. played soccer in the wee hours of the morning til 4 plus.. showered at 4am, and went off to bed.. i think i slept beside 2 gays.. cos they were sharing a sleeping bag n giggling.. anyway
Tuesday, 3rd April
D-Day! Fo 1st day.. had breakfast at around 7am plus+..saw the DingDangs and wished them good luck.. the freshies started streaming in at around 8 plus..and icebreakers, cheers, games were started.. after lunch?, i think the groups had to start begging for materials to make their flag.. there was this one incident where all the groups put their flags in the cls club.. it was kinda funny, cos the flag should always be with the group, haha..nvm.. freshies *shakes head*
Then station games started..me n the rest of the seniors went here n there to see the games.. it was kinda fun, seeing them play.. Evening saw them had dinner and practising their cheers. At nite, Night Games..where they had to search for lightsticks at parts of the school.. kinda fun actually..
Then me n the rest of the guys walked to clementi at around 3 friggin am in the morning to catch soccer.. haiz.. first time kana police stop..it was Awesome!! =O wahaha.. liverpools' game was good..then walked back , reached school at around 5? showered and slept near the rock climbing place..couldnt really sleep.. curse of the camps.. i can't really fall asleep when i want to
Wednesday, 4th April
Woke up, and saw the groups practising their cheers.. i really have to give a great big kudos to the DingDangs.. they were losing their voices, and yet with smiles on their faces, gave it their all.. after lunch, the groups prepared to go to clarke quay for outdoor games.. we took the bus with Happers? and sang some songs and just had fun..
The Billi Blanja at Clarke Quay was awesome. a whole mass of people doing it.. =) when all of them left, the seniors did it again, twice.. after that, headed to the esplanade to see the games..
it was quite awesome.. saw marks' group, saw kelly's group, saw angela's group, and saw cindys' group, where......argh!....i lost my virginity... i lost my first kiss to a guy.. aiyah how? cindy how? lol.. so thats wat a kiss feels huh...i shall conveniently erase the part of who gave me the kiss..
After that had lunch at marina square, where we then headed off to the place under the B.sheares bridge, and just slacked there n watched the groups streaming in one by one..
While waiting for the bus, me and marlon decided to act like a fool, something i accomplish quite easily..and was laughing our heads off til the bus arrived.
Campfire was something.. i was a bit angry that the kias werent singing loudly to the DingDangs..and chided one of em cos he was sleeping.. i mean, the DingDangs gave it all they got, losing their voices in the process..the least one could do was sing for them..but anyways, kudos again to the DingDangs, for not giving up.
the Shim part was fiaking funny..lol.. and isaac really did look pretty.. OMG
Nite, was the nite walk. Me,salleh,ben n lon were stationed at the MLT2 n childcare centre.. here's abit of fact..the haunted places in school are MLT2 n T7T8 the toilet..its proven.. if u wanna know why, ask me when u see me, haha.. at the childcare centre, me and salleh fell asleep directly at the spot where the freshies were walking..it was funny, they thought we were going to scare them, but in fact, we were sleeping already..haha..
After nightwalk, headed over to the rock climbing area to sleep..where, amazingly, i did fall asleep..
Thursday, 5th April
Woke up to the sounds of cheering..honestly, im going to miss that sound.. and saw the freshies n their mama/papas playing games.. hmm, after that.. the more impt part was the C.Ball tournament
Saw the GL vs GM match.. No surprises who i was supporting.. it was a rough game, intensely rough..but then through harships n trials, i saw something awesome, the GLS were playing, and giving it their all.. the ones that cheered cheered til i tears came out.. the ones that played played like there was no tomorrow.. i seriously have to commend the DingDangs.. forget about the score..in my humble opinion.. you all won more that you think, haha =)
then me myself played a round of C.Ball vs the Freshies All stars..they were v.funny and cute.. everytime i fell off the chair they would apologize and ask me if i was okie.. haha.. then i would say, " dun wori about me la, play the game, whack me off the chair if u have to", wahaha..
the saddest part of the whole camp.. going home.. haiz.. but the best part of it was the GL Dance.. breathtaking..i was smiling at some points and laughing, cos it was super cool la..the funny parts and all..nicely choreographed.. while they were singing and dancing, i was like, thinking of the titles of the song they were singing, cos it was so many, haha...
reached home, went through Post-camp syndrome, and felt emo..was super low..jie should know.. however, felt better in the end, thanks jie
